The redeveloped Villa Consuelo Market in Santo Domingo seeks to consolidate and modernize the eastern agricultural regions of the National District into a safe and sanitary marketplace. The remodeling of the market, with a capacity of eight hundred stalls will serve the needs of the local population and funtion as a generator of jobs.
