Lima y Callao will have 6 new EsSalud Hospitals

Álvaro Vidal, Executive President of EsSalud, announced today that EsSalud will build six new hospitals in Lima with the most modern technology and infrastructure.

These new establishments will be located in strategic locations that currently have no health facilities or require greater coverage, as is the case in Villa Maria del Triunfo, Ate Vitarte, San Juan de Lurigancho, San Juan de Miraflores, Miraflores (Suárez Angamos) y  Callao.

Vidal announced that two of these establishments began construction, in a public-private partnership.  These include the facilities in Callao and Villa Maria del Triunfo which will be in operation in 2014. Both projects are being executed by IBT Group.

The hospitals will offer preventative and recuperation services, as well as consult offices in general medicine, emergency rooms, hospitalization, surgical rooms, hemodialysis, rehabilitation, among others.

The Callao Hospital will be located on Av. Argentina N° 3525, while the Villa Maria del Triunfo Hospital will be located on the corner of  the 26 de Noviembre y Defensores Lima Avenues.
